Application ProcessFollow these three steps to apply to Vertical Skills Academy
Vertical Skills Academy strives to maintain a well-defined student body in order to provide focused instruction, enhance social-emotional learning, and maximize all student outcomes. As every child has a unique history and learning profile with individual strengths and weaknesses which broadly impact learning, VSA must follow strict enrollment guidelines to ensure success for all students and staff.
We believe it is imperative that students are able to attend to instruction, listen and understand, and maintain behavioral expectations to ensure skills related to speaking, reading, writing, and math to grow.
Once all of the required paperwork and interviews are complete, the enrollment team will discuss whether or not Vertical Skills Academy will be able to the to meet the academic, social, and emotional needs of the applicant. A decision letter will be sent the family and next steps will be discussed.
Step 1: Inquire
This is a time to become acquainted with one another, so you will have a better understanding of who we are and what our program offers and we will get to know you and your child. You may call, email, or complete an Inquiry Form to begin Step 1.
Step 2: Apply
This is a time for our team to better understand your child’s overall strengths and weaknesses, and for you to learn more about how we might support your child. Once you have met with a member of the admissions team you may choose to apply. If so, you will be sent an electronic application and additional forms to complete. After a thorough data review, your child may be invited to spend a day at VSA.
